When we arrived at Forest Glen station we found out that there was track work at National Airport which added 30 minutes to the journey time. Another image from the day after the snow fell. I was trying to catch the moody sky behind one of my favorite subjects - trains. I don’t think it came out as well as I hoped but since I liked the subject I decided to post it.

This is the entrance to Forest Glen Metro station. I believe that this is the only station on the system witout escalators to the underground stations. The platform is too deep underground for them and the only way to access it is to use a lift/elevator.

Not quite Silver Spring. A Red Line train bound for Silver Spring arrives at Metro Center on the Washington Metrorail system. This is one of those silly images that you take with your phone for the fun of it. Any excuse for a transport picture.
