We headed over to Alexandria for the afternoon and decided to take the Metro instead of driving. When we arrived at Forest Glen station we found out that there was track work at National Airport which added 30 minutes to the journey time. Another image from the day after the snow fell. I was trying to catch the moody sky behind one of my favorite subjects - trains. I don’t think it came out as well as I hoped but since I liked the subject I decided to post it.

This is the entrance to Forest Glen Metro station. I believe that this is the only station on the system witout escalators to the underground stations. The platform is too deep underground for them and the only way to access it is to use a lift/elevator.
