We stopped at a Five Guys for lunch - for those on the West Coast think In-N-Out Burger. The burgers and fries are OK but not in the same league as In-N-Out. For the ultimate burger there is no place better than Hodads in Ocean Beach, CA.

I believe many years ago Cherry Hill Shopping Center and the surrounding area used to be orchards. Now it is a mix of shops, houses and business complexes.

On a shopping trip we spotted these geese meandering in front of Gannett’s offices. Besides these little fellows there were a small horde that were also crossing the road in a tortoise-like fashion. These geese use to be a regular sighting for us when we lived in Colorado so it was funny to see them [...]
