After 628 posts the time has come to move onto something new. The last few months have been more of a chore than a pleasure and as such the photo quality has dropped off. Thanks for visiting and for the comments.

Sorry to hear you’ll no longer be part of the circle of Daily City Photo bloggers in the D.C. area. With only one or two exceptions, I’ve made a point of not posting photos of Silver Spring, because you’ve always done such a great job of bringing us this just-over-the-border, revitalized, inside-the-beltway community. I’ll try to pick up some of the slack, but hope you’ll be back with the occasional picture here and there.
On a related note, your blog has been an inspiration for my own. Thanks for all your work and for showcasing Silver Spring so beautifully.

I’d hate to think that all of the, yes, historic photographs that you took of downtown Silver Spring might disappear into the ether. Might you consider donating to the Silver Spring Historical Society copies of your photos?

A friend of mine said if you say something a bit wrong against a big team player, they will all get you removed.
That really worries me.

The forum looks great, however I have just created a topic but then accidently deleted it. How to I get it back? I deleted the actual topic box on the web page and I can’t where you can insert it again. I am still able to post new topic post but they are not appearing on the forum anywhere do to the fact I deleted the topic box?

Is it probable to give whoever else permission to create themes without them having access to the editor,exist a login or similar feature ? I have three webpages and don’t really wan to have to command the themes moreover also don’t want many ‘accidents ‘ happening too !
