Wheaton Regional Park

I spotted these guys on the path in Wheaton Regional Park while out for an early morning walk. After a minute or so they headed off in to the trees and I was free to amble on my way.

Oh wow, what a wonderful thing to see on a walk! I so envy you. Living in a huge city like I do does have its drawbacks — one of them being the fact that I will never ever meet wildlife during my walks. Unless you count bad drivers as wildlife.

I agree with Hilda: you are so lucky to have the chance of seeing such lovely animals while walking!

One of the things i like about Silver Spring is that we have a lot of open green space and at the same time we are close to Washington DC and all the great museums. The best of both worlds.

A beautiful shot of a neat family. I am so glad that they have a place to live.
