Silver Spring Daily Photo

I remembered reading back in December on Silver Spring, Singular saying that on their last visit to the Red Dog the food had changed. Portion sizes had changed along with changes to the menu. Yesterday we decided to drop in and see how it had changed.

After sampling a selection of starters, the overall consensus was that the food was ok. It wasn’t that good overall…the Caesar salad was mediocre, I’ve had better prepared ones at home. The roasted potatoes were dry and bland. The mac n’ cheese was ok but it needed a bit of seasoning. My wife is a mac n’ cheese connoisseur and has her own family recipe, she was a bit disappointed. Although, we cleaned the plates not sure if that was from hunger or desire. We would still come for a coffee and dessert because we do enjoy the atmosphere but were sadly disappointed in the meal.
