Stables
I had driven by Meadowbrook Stables for years and never stopped for a closer look. As well as this lone rider many horses were running free in the paddocks. One thing I did learn while looking up the stables online is that it is actually in Chevy Chase and not Silver Spring, I do wonder where the line between the two is.

There is no line. Chevy chase is incorporated so it has a line. But Silver Spring is not so there is no border.

Where Silver Spring stops and Chevy Chase starts depends on who you ask. I don’t know about the Park and Planning Commission’s planning areas, but Grubb Road is the line between Chevy Chase and Silver Spring Zip Codes. On the other hand, at least the area west of Grubb Road and east of Rock Creek park has Silver Spring telephone number prefixes.
