Chevy Chase Circle
With a Powerball Jackpot of $300 Million we headed to DC to buy a ticket - we don’t play the lotto very often but when it reaches these heights we find the time to buy one ticket. As we headed to DC we passed Chevy Chase Circle and for the first time I noticed the fountain was running, so decided to stop.

Hi John from Silver Springs - thanks for commneting onmy blog! I do agree a few beers would be needed - maybe you should try our South Pacific (SP) lager - not a bad drop on a hot day!!!!

I used to pass this fountain on my way home from work, and wondered how the heck anyone could get INTO the park. Traffic never stops around the circle, and I never did see a soul inside the circle. Did you get inside?

I walked around looking for a crosswalk but never did fin one. In the ens I waited for the traffic to stop and then ran for my life before someone came screaming around. I can’t believe anyone goes there are it is almost impossible to get there safely.
