Highland Origin Coffee

5 June, 2007 | 20910, East Silver Spring, Food

Highland Origin Coffee, Silver Spring. Canon SD600 | 1/150s | f/4.

We spotted the signs for a new coffee shop coming soon a while ago and with a couple of the local blogs posting about it we decided to check out Highland Origin Coffee now that it is open. The coffee was OK but nothing to get excited about. We didn’t have a chance to sample the cakes, so a second visit will be needed.

I would guess that any new coffee shop would have problems because the standard they are up against would be people like Starbucks and that isn’t easy to overcome.

Thank you for visiting my blog. I appreciate your comments too.

I visited Highland Origin Cafe about 2 weeks ago. I was quite impressed with the atmosphere and the pastries. This is an ordinary persons dream. The success of this business affects everyone who has dreamed of opening their own business. So support is very important. The cafe was quite unique. It is quite hard for this business to survive unless we the ordinary people support the cafe. Please tell your friends and neighbours to come and enjoy the atmosphere, service and products of this uniqe cafe. Bring dates and loved once. Against all odds, like the corporate shark coffee houses, survival and success of this cafe is important to all of us.
