This is a nice photo of a place I like to associate my life with — Nature. A parked car would ruin the scene as would a blinking traffic light. It is a shame that more places like your photo are not mandatory across the country.

Beautiful scenery! The current seems strong and fresh.

Today I spoke with the president of the Silver Spring Historical Society who told me that Sligo was named after Sligo in Ireland because many of the railroad workers who built the railroad were from Sligo, Ireland.

At first glance, this does look like a forest “dark and deep,” but it is spring! Life begins anew. The green shades are lovely. I’m curious about the name of the park since Sligo is part of Ireland. Any connection?
