The reason the sellers think you will pay that amount? My answer would be that the property is next to the Forest Glen Metro station which makes it an ideal site to build some sort of housing development. From the time I moved to this part of Silver Spring, when the townhomes next to the metro were still being built and sold there has been talk of additional redevelopment of the area surrounding the metro. This has including commercial retail shops as well as additional parking and residential building. I guess someone is hoping it’s not all talk.
