We finally had some real snow last night. When we went for a quick walk this morning there was about 3-4 inches.

We had talked about going to the Red Dog Cafe a few times so, we finally stopped in on Saturday afternoon. The menu looked interesting and the food looked and smelled good. I was taking a few nights shots of Kensington station when I heard a freight train approaching. I set a 5 second exposure and hoped for the best. I was able to capture a couple of frames that I liked the look of but it was starting to get cold and I didn’t fancy waiting [...]

This is the entrance to Forest Glen Metro station. I believe that this is the only station on the system witout escalators to the underground stations. The platform is too deep underground for them and the only way to access it is to use a lift/elevator. Google map

Northwood High school played Clarksburg High School in basketball last night. The company I work for was taping it to be broadcast on a local cable channel. This is the two announcers preparing to do the pre game intro. Google map
