Tuesday, February 27 2007 | 20901, Four Corners

polychrome historic district. Nikon D200 1/160s f16

This is one of the five houses in the Polychrome Historic District. They were constructed in the 1930′s from pre-fab concrete. Tiny polished stones are embedded in the concrete to give the houses a sparkle.

Beautiful house – colorful. I like the doorway.

Good shot. The two houses that face Colesville Road always catch my eye, even as I’m driving. (Probably NOT a good thing.)

I really like the door of the house. I’d love to see it close up.

This was interesting to read.
