Easter Island ?
I came across this strange statue while driving around. I am not sure what it is supposed to be, maybe an Easter Island figure. It was on the grass outside a gas/petrol station at the corner of Randolph and Georgia.

I think it belongs to the gas station — a few years ago that station had a whole slew of weird statuary in addition to the Easter Island guy.

Looks like Easter island has landed in Silver Spring - very ineresting - would be curious to know what inspired the resemblance in form

this photo reminds me of the same (or similar) Easter Island statue in the movie “Night at Museum”
