Wayside Market

Wednesday, 28 February, 2007 | 20904, Cherry Hill, Shops | 1 comment

Wayside Market started life as an open air fruit stall, the fruit came from an orchard behind the stall. Over time it was enclosed and eventually converted into a beer and wine shop. It will soon be torn down and a strip mall will be built in its place. Map

This is one of the five houses in the Polychrome Historic District. They were constructed in the 1930′s from pre-fab concrete. Tiny polished stones are embedded in the concrete to give the houses a sparkle. Map

Daily Photo Cities #2

New Yorker Bakery

Thursday, 22 February, 2007 | 20910, Food, Shops | 4 comments

I was just walking around looking for a good sunset image when I came to the window of the New Yorker Bakery. The sunset did not come out as colorful as I hoped but I think the reflection made up for the lack of color. Map
