Not quite Silver Spring. A Red Line train bound for Silver Spring arrives at Metro Center on the Washington Metrorail system. This is one of those silly images that you take with your phone for the fun of it. Any excuse for a transport picture.

I will be out of town till Monday so the next few days will be images taken in the past two weeks. Back to Downtown Silver Spring and a two more choices on the restaurant list – Lebanese Taverna and Macaroni Grill.

“Passage” is an art piece by Linda Depalma. It was commissioned by the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission to mark the opening of the renovated Blair Park. It continues on the other side of the entrance.
