Glass Wall

30 January, 2007 | 20910, Art, Downtown

Glass Wall Art. Canon SD600 1/1000s f2.8.

The Glass Wall is called Transorma/Transforma. Its original concept was based on the millions of letters that flowed through the Post Office that was originally on this site.

Is the wall actual glass? Does the swirl on the left represent the movement of letters? With the lights I wonder if a night time photo is not called for.

I have heard that it looks better at night, although I haven’t happened to walk by at night since I heard that.

I went by tonight and tried to take a couple of photos but none of them really impressed me. I will try again and take my tripod with me to see if that helps.
